She then worked as a consultant to attorneys in medical cases until the Lord called her to full time ministry as the first director of the Crisis Pregnancy Center of Spokane, later known as Life Services. She served in that role for 18½ years and retired in 2009.

Since then, she has served on the board of Heartbeat International, and a consultant for Care Net, affiliating organizations for pregnancy resource centers. She currently serves on the board of Path of Life, a ministry to those experiencing sexual brokenness. She enjoys reading, traveling, and spending winters in Arizona with Dick, her husband of 50 years. They have four adult children, and 13 grandchildren.
